St Matthew's Re-ordering Consultation

Around 60 people enjoyed wine and cheese before taking part in a consultation meeting to discuss proposals on how to develop St Matthew's Church.
Rev Michael Hepper explained that he and the PCC wished to develop the church so it could provide facilities for the whole community, but wanted to involve the community in the planning.
Architect Steven Calvert presented some possible plans, including quite radical changes to the Church. He asked the audience to move into small groups and create a list of ideas for the changes. These were then gathered and he attempted to collate and summarise them.
A further meeting will be held on 4th July. In the meantime people are encouraged to put comments and ideas on the "Contact Us" page of this website
